David McDonald was born in South Africa. In January 1992 he answered the call of God on his life. David attended the local Rhema Bible College graduating with a Certificate of Ministry. Since establishing David McDonald Ministries International in January 1992, David has travelled to over 40 nations, teaching and training church leaders; tutored at Bible Schools in addition to developing and writing teaching programs for Bible Schools.

Spending most of his life in South Africa where he met his wife Dee while attending Rhema Bible School and the United States where he also had his own television program, he once again followed the Lords' leading to move his ministry to Toowoomba Australia. David and Dee emigrated to Australia in early 2002 with their three children. In October 2005 the Lord lead David to start up a church in Toowoomba. Now some 4 years later.... On the Edge Christian Centre has a large congregation and is growing rapidly.

God's Calling and Anointing
David has a prophetic anointing with particularly strong gifts in words of wisdom and knowledge. This, coupled with his sense of humour and powerful teaching gift, has resulted in churches across the world requesting him to minister. His heart is for those who are hurting, and he has a compassion, sensitivity and freedom in the Holy Spirit that is refreshing, which brings a very strong presence of God.

David also has the gift of evangelism and sees many come to Christ in his meetings. This was birthed in him during the time he spent in Africa as a travelling evangelist. He has ministered in four continents to all levels of society and races and is comfortable in big or small churches, crusades, or home meetings. The testimony from those he has ministered to has been of such effectiveness that most churches ask him to return.

He has faithfully served in the local church all his Christian life and his ministry is geared very much towards building and restoration of the local church. Recommendations and references available on request from pastors and leaders whose lives and churches have been transformed by his ministry. God is rising up strong prophetic ministers in our time, and David is situated as one of those who have a clear call of ministry to the church. Above all, David has compassion for God's Word, and this is communicated whenever he ministers. He is committed to minister wherever God leads him locally, nationally or internationally.

THE TEAM


Pastor Bevan & Sandy Greenwood - Senior Associate Pastors
Serving for 26years with Christian Outreach Centre, in that time we ran Home Groups, Hospital Visitation, Ladies Meetings, Men's meetings, children's church, salvation counselling and were Senior Pastors in Queensland and New South Wales for 12 years. We then moved to the Assembly of God for 2 years and for the last 3 and a half years with On The Edge Christian Centre. 2 years ago we were ordained as Associate Pastors to Pastor David & Dee McDonald. Pastoring the Ladies Ministry, Men's Ministry as well as overseeing the Connect Groups, Children's church and helping with Pastoral Care. We are so privileged to be a part of what God is doing at On The Edge Christian Centre. God is an awesome God and we will serve Him with all our heart.



Pastor Garry & Lynda White- Associate Pastors
Pastor Garry and Lynda White through pastoral, evangelical and prophetic gifting, have a strong passion to love people into the Kingdom and help them become all that God has for them. We have seven children between us and two (soon to be three) grandchildren. We are able to minister to our church family and the wider community on the more difficult relational issues, such as, abortion, mental health, adultery, family breakdown, melding the step-family, health issues, building a marriage God's way, as well as helping young men discover their manhood and much more. Ps Garry & Lynda serve as Connecting Pastors at On The Edge Christian Centre.


Pastor Hendrik & Judy Koeleman-Associate Pastors & Youth Pastor
Hendrik and Judy Koeleman. Originally from South Africa, where they came out of a great move of God and experienced incredible miracles. They both have completed degrees at University, but afterwards decided to do Bible School and go into the ministry. After a year in London they felt lead to move to Toowoomba and be a part of what God is doing at On The Edge Christian Centre. Ps Hendrik and Judy are Youth Pastors at On The Edge.


Pastor Henry & Rose Dowling
Pastor Henry & Rose met and married in Canada in 1965 and were very active in their local church until 1982 when God led them to move back to Australia. For almost 19 years they pastored a church in Mt. Isa. Upon retiring from Mt. Isa , God has now placed them at On The Edge Christian Centre where they function as Pastoral Support.



Laurie & Chris McDonald-Support Pastors
We were radically born again over 25 years ago. The scripture says, "If you be in Christ you are a new creation, old things are passed away behold all things are made new". And we thank God that that is our testimony. Since our salvation we have been used of the Lord to encourage the body of Christ and to serve alongside others on team in a Pastoral capacity in three churches that we have attended in Victoria, NSW and Queensland. As we have moved geographically for work and family life as the Holy Ghost has directed. We now attend On The Edge Christian Centre and currently serve as part of the Pastoral Support Team.


WORSHIP TEAM

Andrew & Karren Pomerenke - Worship Director
As a 15 year old teenager Andrew would lock himself away in his room crying out to God to use him. After many weeks God laid it on his heart to pick up a guitar and start worshipping Him. This began a journey of not only musical excellence, but a quest into the very throne room of heaven and burning passion to lead others into the presence of The Most High. His journey has seen him playing everywhere from home groups and small churches and to thousands as a sideman for artists such as Jami Smith and Robin Marks. Andrew is married to his beautiful wife Karren and they have five children. He is currently serves as the Worship Director at On The Edge Christian Centre and is also the Founder of the contemporary band Renascence. His passion is to write songs that will impact the nation and to draw people into the manifest presence of God in such a way that their lives will be empowered to see God's church established on earth.



Jim & Melissa Gray - Worship Leader
We are a part of the Worship Team leaders at on the Edge Christian Centre. I was born again in February 1989 in a small church in St. George, South West Queensland. Since then I have been involved in church pioneering, and also in worship. In 2000 I graduated from Bible College with a diploma in Christian Ministries. Ministering with worship has been an integral part of my service to Jesus and I am honoured to be part of what God is doing in Toowoomba through "On The Edge Christian Centre". Jim is married to Melissa and have 2 children Jamie 11 and Will 9.


Pastor Graeme & Delmay Hoffmann - Service Director
Ps Graeme & Delmay Hoffmann both came from Lutheran background. They attended Rhema Bible College in Townsville in 1998-1999. They then pastored Assembly of God church in Longreach for 3 years . They have been at On The Edge Christian Centre ever since the church started in September 2005. They serve in the capacity of Service Pastors looking after our visitors lounge and all logistics.


Peter & Alisha Greentree - Evangelism
We moved from Melbourne to Toowoomba to be involved in the life of the church here at On The Edge Christian Centre. We believe our lives can influence and re define God's love and acceptance towards people, that being the greatest asset we have as Christians. Being available for others and living from a servant mindset combined with the power of Gods spirit means anything is possible. Peter and Alisha are involved in running a home group and Alisha also runs "Little Hands" which is a playgroup for mums and for little children to grow in the things of God.



Grant & Leanne Cooper- Personal Assistant to Pastor
David & Dee McDonald
Grant was brought up in a Christian home and came to the Lord at an early age. Leanne was born again in 1979. Grant moved to Perth from the Blue Mountains in NSW with Bible School in 1980 and later married Leanne in 1985 and they later moved to Toowoomba in 1988. Grant and Leanne and family were lead to became part of On The Edge Christian Centre ever since the church started in September 2005. Her husband Grant and son Isaac serve on the Worship team. Leanne has been Ps David McDonald's PA since March 2008.
